There is an energy travelling with this army that is tangibly different than with Eina's army and the former rebels. I have to chide myself every time I get thinking, "this is how a march is supposed to be." It's true, but I shouldn't focus my thoughts so exclusively on those matters. I've been down that road. I still can't help but feel a little pride when I see how well they're carrying themselves even after so long at war. Disciplined knights and soldiers. Knowing that these men and women of Dentoria are all going back to families.
It's ... a distraction for me. From things I should do. Things that have lingered since we came out the other side of the Moon Festival.

It does seem as if Celeste has progressed by leaps and bounds? She's taken to it as though she breathes magic, now.

It's amazing how tolerable the weather gets as you're travelling into Spring. My water skin thawed on its own today. It hasn't done that since October. I'd almost forgotten what it was like to be able drink without worrying if an icicle is going to crack off into my mouth.
